Revelation 6:8 (Part 2 of "Comes a Horseman)

(From "Comes a Horseman":
The four horseman of the soul. All created and manifested by our own
heads. It is only a matter of perspective that we see these things
beyond ourselves. Not too many people spend any time outside of
their own heads.

So we try to rewind the mental tape and ask ourselves what we did so
wrong to deserve our current circumstances. And that is where we get
this notion of karma.
"It came back on me three fold!" Not really. You just compounded it
in your own head. And there is not 3 there is 4 and all of them look
exactly like you!

In the end the only tactic you have in fighting them off is by
asking yourself "Which one of these things is the real me?"

The answer is...)

None of them. So everywhere we look all we see is lies, illusions,
confusion, and fear.
Confronted by all of these things we loose out hope, our dreams turn
to nightmares, and we ask ourselves "Why bother."
We give up and out willpower dies out as fast as a spent candle. Our
bright nature pales and our spirit begins to die. Sadly enough that
is often what we say. "I just want to die." or "I feel dead inside."
Some people never really pull out of the spiral of despair. And even
if the do the time will come when today will become a haunted past.
And it will return to confront us because we never took the time to
face it and conquer it before.

Life is always going to be challenging. No matter who, what, or
where you are things will follow you around until defeated and new
things will come up to join those you didn't.
Sooner or later you will find yourself on the battlefield of your
own soul where you will be confronted by all of them at once. That
is the moment in your life when you know that it is do or die time.
You have taken in too much, ran too long. Now it is time to make one
simple choice. Give up and fall or stand and fight.
It is a battle of wills. You against your compounded problems.
Choose your weapon, chose you're ground and stand. You can't keep
running and looking for sanctuary forever. The personal demons you
invoke are no more powerful than the soul they came from. They are
not bigger than you. And you, unlike them, have a weapon they can
never wield. Faith.
Sometimes you have to dig down to the depths of your soul and pull
it out of you. And faith emerges as a pale horse. A loyal friend
through many dangers. You climb up on it and set yourself above and
beyond all of life's problems and then your charge in for the fight
of your life...

"And hell followed with him."

Personal demons, past nightmares, current stressors, and failure
have no chance against the wrath of the faithful. You will live, you
will grow stronger, and you will fight another day.

Hope can dwindle but it is never ever lost. As long as your heart is
beating hope remains. All you have to do is brush the little things
aside and uncover it.
