There is a lot of things that happen to us in life. Some good and
some bad. It would seem that the good times are like paper in a
fire. There one minute and gone the next with nothing left to remind
us of their existence. Bad times however are almost tangible. And we
tend to hold on to them until they are well out of date.
We get more out of sharing bad things. We get empathy, support,
feedback, and even new friends. Share good times and people hate you
for it because they are miserable and nothing ever good happens to
them. Or at least not that they can remember. The fire of life has
burnt them up.
Why do we choose to be haunted by yesterday? Aside from the fact
that it seems to get us noticed more. People gather together in
misery and try to alter the past. Even though it can't be done.
There are a few groups that spend a good part of their time trying
to "heal" or send energies to other people in need.... via the
Internet. It works too. Not because of anything magical but because
what those in need really want is someone to notice them. And they
get attention in a very positive light. While those sending the
energies are happily diluted in the thinking that it was magic that
made a difference. It wasn't.
Fix one problem and next week the same person will come along with
another. Then miserable people start to line up at your door wanting
their own sympathy play for the great tragedies in their lives and
the just keep on coming. It never ends once it starts.
It is OK to feel bad about certain events and even to feel hurt.
That is part of the great experience. But holding on to those things
past their time is plain stupidity and it will hold you back. People
really need to learn how to let things pass. They are not worth
holding on to.
Take a deep breath and let it go. Don't send rancid negative energy
out into the world that has no place in the here and now. Yesterday
and all it's happenings are over. Welcome to today.
People are always looking at their pasts. And they dwell on their
mistakes, the regrets, and their past pains for so long they are
never left with enough time to think about right now. And whatever
you are doing right now, it is not so important that you cannot drop
it and do something else.
All that stress, anger, hate, and fear you are haunted by has no
place here. Its time here is up. Let it go and move on. Spend more
of your time here living and less of it dieing. You'll be a lot
happier and the world you are helping to forge will not have to use
it's time to make you feel a little bit better about yourself.
There are far too many weak minded, emotionally unstable, and easily
offended people running around. Cowboy the fuck up and get on with
it already. Here's a cookie, quit your bitching.
"I'm offended by that." Shut up! What the hell kind of man or woman
are you? Damn soft assess. Is this what the human spirit is being
reduced to? Goddess knows how we have survived for so long.
Life weathers you. It's part of the game. The longer you are here
the tougher you should be. So the next time some teenager come along
with more drive and willpower than you can muster think about all
the things that have turned you into a sobbing puddle of emotional
soup. And grow up.
Think I am hanging onto anger here? Your wrong if you do. This is
not anger. This is snow cold reality. You have a life here and
contrary to what you have been programmed into thinking you do have
the time. There is another thing that just annoys this piss out of
me. "I don't have time for..." Well what the hell else do you have
but time?
The damned problem is you're a puppet. Willing giving your time to
make someone Else's life easier because they can't do it themselves.
Are you living your life or are they living your life for you by
telling you what you should be doing? Is your spirit that broken
down by the modern world?
5000 years ago modern man would have never survived. Too soft, too
offend able, too weak minded. Look at the lifestyles in the ancient
world. Think they were soft puddles of emotional goo? Think they got
upset or cried every time they got hurt or offended?
Nope...they cut your head off for it and laughed all the way home.
And that was the honorable thing to do. Today the honorable thing to
do is call a lawyer. Pagans my ass!
When did paganism turn into all this love, light, and frolic in the
woods bullshit? Ancient man could have never survived one week in
the forests with those ideas floating around in their heads. Yet,
more and more I am seeing modern day pagans who live in yesterdays.
Holding on to past pains and demons as if it is going to do them any
good. And I see others falling into the same trap but encouraging
this kind of weak behavior handing out empathy so sweet it makes my
stomach churn. A soft medicine for a soft people. It won't help them
out one bit. The good healers are going the wrong way.
Mother Nature has been calling on us for a while now to pay our dues
once again. She sends us a hurricane or tornado and all you see is
people pissing and moaning and crying about it. Sorry folks.... its
life on earth and Momma Earth owes you nothing. She was here first.
So when she calls on you to pay your rent you best be paying.
The Earth is not going to wait for man to toughen up once again. If
you think that you are offended by what someone says to you wait
until you see what Nature has to say to you and how much empathy she
will be handing out while you set there crying.
If you want to get in touch with nature you better be getting
yourself up to her level mentally, emotionally, and spiritually
because she is not going to help you out. We all went and knocked on
Mother Natures door and Mother Nature answered. But she is not the
love and light sweet lady she is made out to be. If you think she is
step outside during the next tornado and see if she will stop it out
of empathy for you.
She has no empathy and she has no remorse. She does not care what
she did to you or anyone else yesterday. She is already plotting for
next week. Mother Nature leads by example. And it is not a bad
example to follow.
